Personal Statement
College Sport is a great opportunity for me to pursue my athletic dreams, while also attaining a high level education. On the field, i am captain of short distance in track and field and vice captain of football. Off the field, I am a liturgy captain, meaning I'm a part of the organising, and performing of whole school religious events. These opportunities give me the ability to lead by example both on and off the field. What makes me different from other recruits is my determination and leadership. As a player i admire my own individual achievements without being arrogant and would rather keep these success' to myself, i would rather see my whole team succeed as it is more worthwhile and enjoyable if everybody else can succeed with you. Additionally my determination to be better than everybody around helps push my ability along with the team, as my improvement will spark improvement in others. In addition to football, i part take in surf life saving having completed my bronze medallion, i am a track and field athlete and i used to compete in high levels of basketball. Thus making me a determined athlete in any scenario where i am determined to dominate.
