Personal Statement

I am a 17 year old boy turning 18 this year (2020) on the 5th of July. I am from a country in Africa called Botswana. I currently play my football in UK at an academy called Future Lions Internationals. I started playing for the Botswana Football National Team in 2017, where I played  three of the group stage games as a left back against Zimbabwe,Mauritius and Malawi.I then went on to play an international under17s tournament in 2018 as a left wing against Swaziland,Namibia and Zambia. Last year I was selected to play for the Under20s as a left winger and scored 2 goals in the tournament, 1 goal against Malawi and the other against Comoros. In total I have 9 international appearances and 2 international goals. 

I wrote my International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations last year October and got decent results. I want to attend a college where I can excel both football wise and education wise. I like to push myself hard on and off the field of play (classroom). I study hard so that I can have at least an average GPA.
