As an athlete, I believe that it is crucial to be able to work not only as an individual to achieve my own goals and aspirations but to work within and around the team. I believe that as a team, no one person is superior or better than everyone however, we each have our own gifts and talents that should be harnessed to co-exist with each other to create a well rounded group. My goals and aspirations as a collegiate athlete would to gain a better understanding of my sport as well as gaining a degree at the end of a collegiate career. What makes me different from other recruits? Whilst other recruits may commit to a training program and compete with dedication, I believe in taking the extra step. This means putting in extras before and after everyone else has arrived and left. It means that I reach out to those supporting my goals and aspirations to ask for their guidance and assistance in growth as a person and as an athlete. People talk about the one percenters and my commitment and dedication, this is what sets me apart from the rest. In conclusion these attributes make me a recruit with potential to play an excellent collegiate career
