Personal Statement
Soccer is all about mentality, taking a kick for the team, saving a goal with the face. Even after all of this I stil get up, and continue fighting, because soccer is not only a sport, but a warfield in every game.
Since I was little, I always loved to play soccer. At the time, I did not know soccer would be the biggest adventure of my life. Waking up at 4:00 am is not always fun, but I still do it because I want to achieve my goals. In the end it paid off, I have achieved a lot of things in soccer. This also set an example for the other part of my life, education. Thanks to soccer I learned that I needed to work hard to get the grades that I wanted. Soccer gave me the most important thing in life, discipline. For this reason, I was able to be so succesfull in my life.
Behind every soccer player, there is a person. I have always been a humble person. For example, before every training I will say “hi” to every team member and coach. At the end of each match, I will always shake hands with the rival team. This is one of the most important skills a soccer player can have because it allows to think for the team, instead of the player.
One of my goals in life is to play soccer at college. I will work day and night, for as long as it takes. Just like a soccer match, it is a battle that will hopefully end, by me playing college level soccer.
