Personal Statement
My name is Martin Dunn, I graduated on February from Balandra Educational Center in Guayaquil Ecuador, where I excelled academically and in Varsity sports. I graduated from their Bilingual International Baccalaureate program in February of 2024 with a GPA of 3.78.
I started playing soccer when I was 5 years old and throughout my experience, I have continually developed my skills as well as my love for the sport. I am currently playing in the U19 category at Guayaquil City Club where I started in July 2022. We are currently competing in the Ecuadorian National Tournament. From 2013 to 2016 I played in Academia Alfaro Moreno, that was bought by Barcelona Sporting Club in 2016, which is historically the premier soccer team in Ecuador, at 11 years old I became part of their formative team and participated in various tournaments like the National Tournament, the “Torneo Interbarrial del Universo”, the Coca Cola Tournament etc.
As a player I’m both versatile and hard-working. I can play as an attacking midfielder, creative midfielder, a winger on both sides, and a striker depending on what my team needs. Regardless of how I’m asked to contribute I’m a team player and will do my best on and off the pitch.
