Personal Statement
To whom it concerns,
I am a high school junior in the KAUST schools with big dreams, involved in all available academic as well extracurricular opportunities of all types to develop academic and athletic skills to have useful input to the overall society. I tend to have some unique leadership skills such as organization and coordination, as well as the ability to work with people of all sorts of kinds. I am interested in pursuing football professionally in my life alongside my academics because they are both equally important to me.
I believe that I am a fast learner and a great problem solver as well as a great leader on the field. Still, I would like to grow these skills further to benefit my team as well as develop myself as an individual to contribute more efficiently to the society.
Some of the accomplishments/activities that I had been a part of includes :
Being part of the Sharks ambassadors school group
Being the technical director for the play (Alice through the iPhone)
Volunteering for a vast verity of events
Playing football for the U16 as well as the U19 team for five years
Most improved badminton player (2018)
Most improved basketball player (2018)
Most valuable football player (2018)
Participation in the science fair for three years
Membership chair of SYAG
Refereeing the U14 boys & girls tournaments
Refereeing the men Ramadan football tournament
Football has always been my favorite sport. Starting as a striker in Jeddah, then moving to be a goalkeeper when moved to KAUST and then went back to my original position. I am the type of player that wouldn’t complain about where my coach wants me to be. I do as asked with passion and pride.
By considering me, I would strive to do my very best to make the decision you took about recruiting me a good one and be someone who is “worth it,” and I believe I can do that and establish myself as well as teammates and coaches proud.
Best regards,
Mohammed Khojah
