Housemaster – Founders House,
Head of Mathematics,
LETTER OF REFERENCE – Ronald Makuwaza.
I have known Ronald Makuwaza for two years, as his Housemaster in a boarding school context and what I experienced of him during this time impressed me.
He is an independent and self contained young man. He has interacted easily with his peers without being reliant on them. His records show that throughout his six years at Falcon, he has always been an efficient and important member of his dormitory.
He achieved a very competent standard in his O level examinations. He has continued his studies to A level again achieving a competent set of results recording three C’s in his chosen Cambridge A Level subjects and a C for AS Mathematics.
He is an active and talented sportsman. He has excelled in Football, Athletics and Basketball and has represented the College at the highest level in all three sports. He has been a particularly important member of this year’s Football and Basketball first teams. He is a gifted sportsman who represented the College in the A teams at junior level in Hockey, Rugby, Basketball and Cricket.
He was an active participant in several clubs and societies throughout his years at the College, including in recent times service to the community. He has been a most dedicated member of the service club at the College over the last year. He was highly commended by his Tutor in Charge of this very dedicated service club at the College. She spoke highly of him and has recently returned to the United States of America.
He achieved the appointment of House prefect for the 6th Form Centre of Founders’ House in 2015. He has been very diligent and reliable in his duties. He has been an important member of the House Prefect body and he has done an excellent. He commands respect and was popular with his peers. He is polite, very respectful and was well liked by the staff of this College.
In carrying out his role as prefect of the 6th Form Centre and later as Form 2 Prefect, he showed that he had the ability to lead those of his age responsibly and with authority while earning the respect of his juniors.
He is dedicated to doing a good job in any area that captures his enthusiasm or that entails a measure of responsibility. I commend him with confidence to any prospective employer or institute of post- school education.
