Personal Statement
My name is Patrick Irving, I am from Liverpool, England. I am currently in my second year in the states playing at national park college and am the captain of the team. I am an attacking minded left back who loves to get up and down supporting both my wingers and midfield as well as always prioritising my defence being a strong tackler and header of the ball. I can also play further up the pitch as I have good vision for a pass and enjoy having the ball and keeping possession. I am a composed player on the ball and like to challenge myself. I always work hard for myself and my team in matches and in training as I believe this is the bear minimum I can do and if I work hard the rest will fall into place. I am a technically strong player with a quality left foot while also being able to play with my right, I have great stamina and endurance being able to run a 10km in 44 minutes and a mile in 5.50. I am also a great team player and a leader on and off the pitch, I will always put my team before myself and will do whatever it takes to help my teammates out. I have an outgoing personality and adapt around new people and conditions very well. I have always been brought up around respect and generosity so I like to be the best person I can be as well as footballer. I am a hard working student and like to apply myself in class and always try to do my best. I am on course to receive 30 credits after the first semester and will be doing another 18 credits in spring so I have 38 credits overall and a higher GPA.
