Personal Statement
My aspirations as a collegiate player are to push myself to the next level and to also learn from the coaches and players around me. I plan to continue improving at this level and learn from some experienced players/coaches. I have always had a battle with my height compared to the players I have been up against. I have learned different ways to play to make sure I don't rely on my strength compared to them. My soccer IQ is better than everyone else's on the field and I have a great feel for the game. I always know where the next pass should be and where the ball needs to go. I also have a strong will to win and make sure that no one gets by me when I am on defense. I make sure to not jump in to early and let the guy get by me but to continue to delay him until I can get a clean tackle. Overall, my goals are to improve and play at a higher level. As a player, I have played in the Junior Premier League and have been selected to play in academy showcase games including against Peterborough United.
