Personal Statement
For the last 4 years I have been talking about going to the USA for college. I believe it would be an amazing experience for me and it would be cool as it is completely different from what I have experienced over the last 16 years of my life. I am, and have always have been fascinated by the college life ever since I found out about it and I would love to step foot in America one day as a proud college student. I would love to go out to the US to peruse my soccer career but also to study at the same time. This means I would be able to get a degree while doing something that I cherish the most. I would like to have a degree based around what I am studying right now for my A-levels. These are Business, Economics and Politics.
I really do believe that I would be a great asset for any college team. As well as Being very good in my field of excellence ,which is soccer, I am an all round sports man and can hold my own in most sports. I have a lot of good qualities when it comes to soccer. My best attributes are my dribbling, passing, tenacity, my soccer IQ on the field, my set pieces and my ability to bring pace to a game and drive a team up the field.
If I had three words to describe my self, I would say I am enthusiastic, loving and hard working. I love a conversation and find it very interesting listening to what people have to say. I have a good sense of humor and a good music taste and would like to meet new people and learn what they are all about.
When it comes to my academic side, I like to challenge my self as you can see from the subjects I have chosen for my A-levels. I have leant over the last 5 years what I need to do academically to push myself further with my studies. As a student, I would describe myself as a bright, enthusiastic character in the classroom always eager learn.
There isn't one day in which I do not dream about going to the USA for college. I think that it would be an astounding chapter of my life and I would honestly love to go out there.
