Personal Statement
I'm looking to advance my education at a highly regarded college where I can continue to balance playing football at a top level whilst remaining in higher education. I deeply value my education and my football, and have always held myself to the highest standards in both areas. I'd like to think I am an intelligent and coachable player, who has developed great tactical knowledge and experience of the game over years of academy football being signed at Fulham FC and AFC Wimbledon, and having extended trials at Chelsea and Charlton Athletic in between being signed at these clubs. On top of this, being scouted for and playing at Wales FA national team camps at U15, U16, and U17 has given me exposure to football at country level- the highest I have played at. These opportunities have been rewarding and challenging during the ups and downs of my career, all of which make me the better player and leader I am today with greater ability to learn and adapt to different styles of coaching and play. Off the pitch I am hardworking, and use time in between training sessions and matches to improve my physical condition and upper body strength, specifically with callisthenics and upper body exercises as well as plyometrics and core workouts. As well as devoting time to study and do further reading around my A-level subjects, I prioritise clean eating and healthy habits for both my physical and mental health when I'm not playing football.
