Personal Statement
At the 2022 Rainbow College Boarding Inter House Sports Competition, I secured Gold Medals in the 800 meters, 1500 meters, 4x400 meters, and Soccer, and a Bronze Medal in the 4x100 meters. My resilience and commitment shine through instances like my experience at the Barca Residency Camp in Arizona. Despite not being selected due to disagreements with the teaching style, I transformed disappointment into motivation, intensifying my training regimen and fostering mental resilience. I engage in weekly training sessions at my local stadium, and I am assured that my abilities harmonize effortlessly with the standards maintained in college athletics.
Beyond achievements, my coaches can attest to my unwavering work ethic, leadership qualities, and commitment to sportsmanship. Hailing from a family with a history of academic excellence, having a Medical Doctor and a Chemical Engineer as sisters (all under 25 yrs.), underscores my disciplined and motivated background. In high school, I captained the soccer team and served as the Sports Prefect for the 2022/2023 Session. Moreover, my four-year volunteer work with an NGO, Practical Christian Living Initiative, reflects my dedication to community service.
Soccer has been a lifelong dream for me, rooted in my earliest memories. I vividly recall inserting myself into high schoolers' games when visiting my sister at her boarding school, even as a young child. This pursuit isn't impulsive; it's a consistent passion nurtured with the unwavering support of my family. I am a determined, ambitious, honest, and prayerful individual eager for the opportunity to prove my worth.
