Nicholas Anastasiadis '21 Recruiting Profile

I started playing started soccer/ football at the age of 5 and have had a crazy obsession and love for the game ever since. Having grown up around a soccer environment, with both my father and my uncle both having played professionally, it has motivated me to pursue my dream of one day becoming a professional soccer player.

Growing up around a soccer environment has given me the skills I possess today, my father being a prolific and well-known striker/ winger for ‘Paok FC’ in the Greek Super-League, has taught me the fundamentals of being an attacker from a young age.

As a player I am a strong, tall, and technically good player, standing at 6,2 inches tall, and playing primarily as a winger/ striker, I am able to use that to my advantage to be dominant and aggressive in front of goal and 1 on 1, as well as having good vision and creativity up front. However, overall, I am a good, positive teammate and love encouraging the younger players to excel in their game,

I believe that playing at a collegiate level will provide opportunities for me as a player, as well as well focusing on my studies.
