Personal Statement
I am a hard-working, tough-tackling, progressive and vocal defensive midfielder who values ball retention and is versatile so can play throughout the midfield and defence. Meticulous and dedicated in both my lifestyle and training I am looking to progress my career in soccer. I am respectful to both players and coaches and have been described as "very coachable" by the staff at the clubs I have played for. I understand what it is to perform my role for the team and take pride in doing a great job for the benefit of the whole team.
I have played soccer since I was four years old. From grassroots at Bingley Juniors and Salts Juniors, through Bradford City and York City before settling into my current club to complete a scholarship at AFC Guiseley where I combine soccer in the National League U19 Alliance with studying A-Levels (USA equivalent - Advanced Placement) having already completed my GCSEs (USA equivalent - High School Diploma).
I am considering degrees in Business or Sport to run alongside my on-field sporting endeavours. As well as playing soccer I am excited about exploring continuing both reffing and coaching, activities I am already engaged with here in the UK.
