Personal Statement
I currently play for Huddersfield Town which is a professional club in the English Premier League inside Yorkshire despite living in Manchester which clearly outlines the dedication I have for my sport. Although I am currently in my first year of a two year scholarship and playing to try and gain a professional contract with this club, my preference is to try and gain a sports scholarship in America as I feel this benefits my academic career as well as giving me a chance to explore another culture and develop my soccer skills to a higher level and I am determined to make it to the level of professional football in USA.
Playing with age groups above me as I train daily with the U23 team, I have learnt to play to my strengths which are my intelligence without the ball to make runs behind the defence using my speed which is my biggest asset.
Academically, I'm proud to have been educated at one of the most famous grammar schools in the UK known as the Manchester Grammar School and I am proud to have attained 10 IGCSES with the cumulative GPA of 3.50 (5As 4Bs and a C) despite me having to juggle schoolwork with training 4 times a week with my club over the two years I was studying.
I believe that I'm a confident and enthusiastic character which will be able to bring a positive vibe to the team in any possible way.
