Personal Statement
The opportunity to have played at the highest standard of youth soccer in the UK from U9 to U15 is an opportunity I will always be grateful for. It has allowed me to gain a mature sense of professionalism and build me ever growing passion for soccer. This mature mindset has spread into my academics also, with me taking great pride and passion in the classroom which has seen me achieve an honorary academic scholarship at Harrow School. Being in the UK has meant I would have to choose between the two upon graduating high school, but the chance to study in the USA means I could marry my two passions and progress even further as a player, student, and person. Being a part of so many different sporting and schooling environments has allowed me to grow and develop into a character who can adapt to various different situations and persons. My coaches have described me as 'coachable', 'understanding', 'competent in conversing', and a 'role model'. With this in mind, I feel like I am a great contribution to any program and an organ to any locker room.
