Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Andres Melendez and I am currently studying in Monterrey, Mexico, in a high school named Liceo De Monterrey Centro Educativo. In this high school there is the opportunity to do the full IB diploma (International Baccalaureate), which I am currently doing. This high school is one of the very best, academically and athletically in my state. It is also a catholic school and in here we are taught to act taking into consideration the values. I am a well taught kid, that exceded all my life in soccer and academically (94 out of 100).
Now speaking athletically, I am a very good athlete, that can learn very fast. I have been playing sports since i was 5 years old. I have played a lot of sports during my life like tennis, football, soccer, paddle, swimming, etc; and I have been good in every one, but the one that I exceded the most, and that I have been practicing the most, is soccer. I have been called to teams that were 2 or 3 years older than me, and I have out played them (in my position). I am also very versatile in the soccer field, I can read the plays very well, and i am very technical. I am also a team player, I don't like to do everything myself, because with a team everything is easier and better. Being a team player is very easy for me because I have very good social skills, like making friends or be liked.
I am also a very good leader, thanks to all of these years playing the sport and all of the projects developed in school.
