Personal Statement
My name is Jose Carlos Hernandez. I was born in Mexico and have played soccer my entire life. I believe that what makes me stand out from the rest of the recruits is my consistence, passion, and perseverance. When I have a goal, as little as it may seem, I try as hard as possible to achieve it. I hardly give up in what I start. I adapt really easily to any kind of situation, in life as well as in the pitch. I love challenges. I believe they make me better and push me to my limits. I also think of myself as a really creative person. When it comes to school, while I may not be the star student, I always come up with the most original ideas. Might be for an essay, a project, or even an answer to a question. My main aspiration as a possible student athlete is to finish my college career, and, in the process, represent the institution I end up on, helping them achieve all their goals and objectives, with the so very much pride and respect I'll have for them as a community and as a team.
