Personal Statement
As a 2 time National Champion, I have basically lived it all. I have been to 6 Dallas Cups, I have been playing international soccer since I was 10 and have played several positions in that time. I consider myself a very hard working soccer player. I will always give my best and what I feel is my best atribute is how well rounded of a player I am. Last year I played the U-17 category and reached the semi finals as team captain in the Dallas Cup. The year before that, I also played in the U-17 and reached the quarter finals. Last year my high school team won the National Title in soccer for private schools in Mexico (CONADEIP). This year we also won the National Championship. I was a starter , lead the team in goals scored and won CO-MVP in the Championship. These are some of my athletic accomplishments in the past 2 years. Academically I also try my best in every class. I am now learning a third language and feel that the school I go to for college needs to have a very good language department for me to continue with my dream of becoming trilingual. What also separates me from other players is how positive I am. I have learned throughout the years how to make better relationships with my teammates by getting the best out of them in the sense that if they make a mistake, you don't shout at them and blame them for their mistake. You instead need to encourage them to continue trying and become better on and off the field.
