Personal Statement
My name is Alvaro Jimenez and i am 19 years old. The main reason i want to attend college in the United States is because i want to play soccer there. I have been playing soccer as long as i remember, it has alway been my dream to become a professional soccer player. I have lot of experience, i played in youth categories of the team Atletico de San luis. I played there for 3 years, at that moment i was 13 to 17 years old. Then i started playing for my highschool team Tec de monterret campus san luis, were i disputed national tournaments like Intertecs or Conadeip. What makes me different from other players is that while i was growing up i had a problem called retrasco constitucional. Which made me developed slower than the other kids. That situation made me work harder in order to get minutes on the field. Now i am 18 years old my body is fully developed and can compete better than never before. My strenghts are that i am really agile with the ball, i have great field vision, and i have a great rythm change.
On the other hand i do not have any problems in school, i am a good student, but must importantly during mi whole life i have combined sports and study so i am really used to it.
I will die for my coach and my team inside the field, thats part of my nature as a player and a person.
