Personal Statement
To begin, my college aspiration is to have the best level and experience in the whole aspects that a university means to me, that is: Academics, Athletics and Life preparation.
Regarding the team, I'll bring: All my experience I've collected since I started to play at 8 years old and having being scouted by two profesional teams in Mexico in their younger categories: "Rayados de Monterrey" and Cruz Azul, reaching the u18 team being just sixteen years old, and currently playing for the varsity team at my high school because profesional teams in Mexico don't really believe in educating their players and I wanted to be something more than just a player. Intensity. I leave my soul every time I walk on a field, being training or a match, so I would never leave a ball for lost. Functionality. Being 6'1" tall, I stand out playing as a central back or outside back (right or left) and I master other positions like right wing. Plus, I know how to play several tactic systems. Leadership. My teams have recognized me as a leader in and outside of the field, and I play for the team, not for myself. Technic. I have and outstanding game vision and even higher game IQ, also excellent footwork that allows me to shoot with both feet, controlling and passing with remarkable precision, in addition to an excellent aerial game. Competitiveness. I will never be confortable not scoring goals, so I will take any chance to increase the score of the team (corners kicks for example if I'm playing back). This is a summary of what makes me the different one and the best candidate for any team.
Academically speaking, just like in soccer, I leave all my effort in classes. It is not a big sacrifice for me, because I believe that the discipline that I apply today, will be my success of tomorrow. I don't have much to say about school, because there's not much to do but STUDY. This is the moment in my life that I really know what I want to do, and studying college in a high level is a priority for me to learn and to start approaching my goal to rename the word dreams with reality.
