Personal Statement
I am a student athlete with determination to pursue my passion for soccer at the collegiate level. As a significant part of the Brazilian community, soccer runs through my veins and I have a burning desire to play professionally. Knowing that college is my last chance to fulfil this dream, I'm fully devoted to making every second matter. Beyond the pitch, I have an intense passion for the sport. I immerse myself in every game, always trying to learn new things and improve my techniques and decision making . I carefully examine how I performed because I'm always trying to do better. I am persistent in my quest for progress and train nonstop on my own. I firmly believe that talent pales in comparison to discipline and hard work, qualities I embody wholeheartedly. Since the age of two, soccer has been an integral part of my life, and stepping onto the pitch is akin to placing everything on the line. It's not just a game for me; it's a testament to my passion, a dedication to my family, and a tribute to those who haven't been afforded the same opportunities. In school, I value honesty and integrity above all else , both on and off the pitch, I place a high importance on them in school. I'm prepared to grab every chance and take on every obstacle because I know that success is inescapable when I apply self-control, determination, perseverance and dedication.
In addition , I want to underline my constant dedication to academic success and personal development in addition to my unrelenting passion for soccer . Even though I don't currently have the best grades, I really believe that resilience and a desire to do better are traits that apply outside of the pitch. My goal is to become an exceptional student who excels in both academics and athletics. I am fully committed to achieving this goal when I begin my IGCSEs and get ready for the IB programme the following year. As done in soccer I am also studying for those life changing opportunities . I recognize the importance of balancing my passion for soccer with my academic pursuits, understanding that success in both realms requires dedication, discipline, and a willingness to push beyond perceived limitations. I am determined to harness my potential and strive for excellence in every aspect of my life, knowing that the lessons learned through academic challenges will only serve to strengthen my character and fortify my resolve on the field. With your guidance and support, I am confident that I can achieve remarkable success both academically and athletically, proving myself to be a valuable asset to your team and a testament to the power of perseverance.
