Personal Statement
I am a highly motivated student and athlete who has always wanted to attend a college in America and play soccer. I grew up in Stockholm, Sweden and played Soccer in an academy team and played invitational tournaments around Europe. In late 2012 I moved to Beijing, China due to my mothers work and I attend an international British school in Beijing where i do the international baccalaureate diploma. I have played and been a starter for the varsity team and i have also played in an international county team with the best selected players from international schools in Beijing. With this team we have played against several Beijing county and Academy teams. I have been captain for all 3 men's varsity school sports (Volleyball, Basketball and Soccer) in high school this 2015/2016 year as well as receiving the Most valuable player award for all three of them.
I have always been highly motivated academically and in 2015 i finished the british IGCSE´s with an average grade of A. Currently I am predicted 36 in the IB diploma and I have received awards for design and technology, English and Psychology.
What sets me apart is the experience I have, partly with people from all over the world but also with soccer from all over the world. I have grown up in an international environment and I speak both Swedish and English fluently as well as a little Chinese and Spanish.
