Personal Statement

I've been playing soccer ever since I was 6 years old, and since then it was impossible to separate me from my football. In my freshman year of high school, I was awarded the "Player of the Tournament" title. As a 15 year old, I've been playing tournaments with the Under - 16's, Under - 17's and Under - 19's as well. Soccer to me is not just a sport. Every time I step onto any stadium or ground I know that this is where I aspire to be and i'm willing to do whatever it takes to turn this small game into a career for me. As a striker and a leading scorer in various tournaments, being a captain can be pressurising, but every time I kick the ball I realise that this is the time for me to shine. If it was upto me, I would play soccer 24-7. I know that an opportunity to play college soccer is very rare, but I do know that if I get it, I will make the most of it and not waste your time.
