Personal Statement
Hello together, my name is Niklas Lohrer, I'm 21 Years old and currently living in Cologne (Germany). I'm studying the topic "Sports-Journalism" at the German Sports University in Cologne and will end my undergraduate studies in March '25. I would love to do a One-Year Graduate Studies Program in the US. It has always been a dream for me, to study in the United States and I hope that my grades and qualities on the Soccer pitch can make my dream come true.
The last two seasons I have played for TuS Königsdorf in the 5th division of Germany. As a wingback/fullback I managed to give one Assist in 25 games played. I would count speed, assertiveness and intelligence as my greatest strengths. Check out my linked highlight tape from the past 3 years for that.
As it would be difficult for me to afford to study in the USA, I am trying to get a sports scholarship for the 2025 season. I would prefer to do a One-Year Graduate Studies Program in marketing/communications/PR or something similar combined with sports and finance the majority of it with a scholarship.
