Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Daylan Russell from Nassau, Bahamas. 

My goals and aspirations are to attend a university, pursuing an undergraduate  degree in Business,  whilst honing my athletic skills and hopefully one day become a professional soccer player. My main positions are LW and RW but with my versatility, I can also play as a ST. In 2019, at the age of 15, I played with my country's Boys U-17 National Team at Concacaf. My strengths are 1v1 situations, dribbling and playing direct and also my ability to learn from mistakes. A drive and determination to be the best, my 'never give up' work ethic, coupled with my easy going personality and getting along with anyone - a true team player - makes me a stellar candidate for any college/university soccer team. As a true team player, understanding it's about 'we' and not 'I', my willingness to work hard and push/help my teammates to get better, makes me a sound, well rounded student-athlete.
