Personal Statement
My name is Brandon Wansay and I am a 15 year old male aspiring to play football/ soccer within the USA at a D1 level. I am an international student living in England. In England, there are two types of exams. foundation and higher. On foundation it is up to 5 and only a 4 and a 5 is a pass. I am currently a grade 4 student however, I am yet to sit my GCSEs (my finals). My primary position is right winger as I am a left footed player but I can also play left back if necessary. I specialise in my ability to dribble, find a pass, communicate with my teammates and contribute defensively to provide defensive support. Football has been a sport i have been playing since the age of 2. from the age of 6-7 I was at Millwalls development. Then I moved out of London and joined a local club in Newcastle called Newcastle City Juniors. I received an offer for a trial at Newcastle Academy at the age of 9 But i turned it down due to my age. I then played for Wallsend, Blue star (whom i won a national tournament with) and Rutherford who i also won a national tournament with and also my current club. I captained my school team in primary school and secondary school. Just recently, I led my school team to the city final which we won.
