Personal Statement
I would like to play in NCAA 1 to then work my way up to the MLS. I would be interested in studying either Sports management, Biology, or Nutrition sciences.
What makes me a good candidate for a team is the fact that I have 14 years of experience as a soccer player , I play in Europe more particularly in France and I have the Spanish and French soccer culture. I speak three languages fluently, I have a lot of energy and love to be in a team and to create bonds. I get along easily with other people and I am very hungry for my dream, I am willing to put in any sacrifice needed.
During the 2021-2022 season I was supposed to play in U16 but I was upgraded to the U18 squad where I became the captain after a short span of time at only 14 years old.
I have good leadership skills and I am also willing to sacrifice everything to be able to live my dream, which is to become a professional soccer goalkeeper.
Since august 2023, I play in a club called A.S Cagnes le Cros, a club that has been elected best non-professional club of the PACA region in the 2022-2023.
Last year, I played in the U18 regional league because there were no U18 nationals. We finished second, playing against teams like Olympique de Marseille, OGC Nice, Monaco etc and we had the ambition to be promoted to the U19 national league in France but only the winners of the league got promoted.
I have been promoted to the semi-professional first Senior team competing in Régional 1, a team formerly competing in National 3 and am currently the substitute goalkeeper
This is my 4th season training, in private sessions aside from the club training, with Dominique Bernatowicz, recognized goalkeeper trainer that has coached for Olympique de Marseille , Girondins de Bordeaux , Bayonne , Brétigny foot and other clubs. He trained goalkeepers such as Edouard Mendy, Steve Mandanda, Ulrich Ramé, Mathieu Valverde, Fabien Farnolle, and other goalkeepers.
I am also playing in “L’équipe élite universitaire” of Université Côte d’Azur and I spent a week doing a camp In the Centre De Formation de Gardiens de But de Cavaillon ( the training center of goalkeepers in Cavaillon).
I go to the gym regularly and work specifically on my plyometrics and explosiveness to perfect my jumping abilities and my agility. I have a 25 inch vertical jump and also train my flexibility to be more mobile and agile whilst in the goal.
I recently graduated in one of the most prestigious International High Schools in France, Le Centre International de Valbonne, acquiring an international French Baccalaureate (BFI) and I am now studying Sports Science at Nice Université Côte d'Azur.
