Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Christodoulos Georgiou. My interest in soccer started at a very young age when I became intrigued by the way soccer players played as well as by the feeling I had during my soccer training. My goal is to continue my education and graduate from a respected US university while playing soccer at a high level and be part of a purposeful soccer program.
My work ethic , mentality and strong determination are the traits which can make me an excellent candidate and can help me stand out . At the same time , my drive, teamwork and leadership skills can be an asset in achieving my team’s goals.
I am graduating high school in May 2022, however I will be available to attend a US university in August 2023 , since I have to serve in my country’s army for one year. During that year, I will be able to practice every day with my local team and play normally in the championship every weekend as there is a program which supports athletes who join the army.
