Personal Statement
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am applying for a soccer scholarship. As a passionate football player, I have been intensively involved with this sport for a decade now and have continued my education both on and off the pitch.
My successes and achievements as a player are varied. I've played on different teams and achieved success at both regional and national levels. For example, my team and I became champions in the regional league last season, i also took part in a national tournament and the international tournament JSSL in Singapore twice (in 2017/2018). My individual statistics speak for themselves, we played most of the games without conceding a goal. I scored 4 goals and 8 assists as a defensive player.
In addition to my playing skills, I also distinguish myself through my leadership qualities. I'm the captain of my current team and I've learned how important it is to keep a team together and motivate it. I am convinced that I can also play an important role in your team and help us to achieve success together.
In addition to my sporting career, my academic career is also important to me. I have always done well at school and I also strive for high goals in my studies. I am sure that the scholarship will give me the opportunity to achieve my academic goals while advancing my career as a soccer player. I speak 4 languages, 3 of them at least on a C1 level such as German, French and English. In addition to that i learn Chinese at school and doing the HSK 4 exam at the moment.
