Personal Statement
It was at the age of 7 when I had the courage to step on a football field for the first time. From then on, in my little world, I have imagined going further in the sport and leaving my name and my family´s name very high. In Mexico, the situation does not allow you to be in school and practice soccer at a very competitive level at the same time, however, the American module does allow you to do it, just as it can give you a unique experience that a university can offer you. I truly desire that here I can achieve my dream and compete at the highest levels of the world, always taking into consideration that I want to finish with my diploma of Architect.
Throughout my young soccer career, I have acquired different skills and leadership, thanks to the classes taught by my different coaches I have had, (and also as a goalkeeper, they have to demand me more). Thanks to the fact that I played in all the positions of the pitch; at the moment of being the goalkeeper, the game with the feet is not an impossible task for me, instead, I consider myself a player with a lot of vision, periphery and a good ball touch.
Firstly, I consider myself a player who can contribute mentally to the team, since I always try to encourage the teammate when he has been wrong and even when he has not done it. Treat him with respect and always with humility.
At school, I consider myself a student who´s always constant and who is attentive to each class, without being the best of the class I think my GPA is outstanding. I am someone who does not like problems and tries to avoid them at all costs in order to be an exemplary student since you never know if you are the inspiration of someone. At academics, I always try to be on time, respect teachers, study to know more, to be on time, to be my brother and parents' pride: by trying to reflect on my grades the great effort and confidence they have put on me.
I want to attend a college that offers me the best options to play and study. I am firmly open to all sorts of possibilities and expect to be among the highest competitive levels. I want to be in a place that motivates me to push myself day by day to become better and better as a player and a person.
