Personal Statement

My goal is to be a professional soccer player and follow the path of my great grandfather and my oldest brother. What makes me a good candidate is that I never give up, I always put in all my effort because that's how you get things done. Even though soccer is a sport that consumes a lot of my time, I love and enjoy it, and this is why I never give up, so I can become the soccer player I want to be. I have good sportsmanship. I am always there for the team, this is very important because you win together and you lose together, it's a team sport and it is important to understand that. Another reason I am a good candidate is that I believe that winning is what matters, once you're on the field, the goal is to win. I am different from other recruits academically because I get high honors, meaning that my GPA in the IB grading system is over 6.25. I am different from other recruits athletically because I participate in every varsity sport provided at my school. I have a different character from other recruits because I'm very loyal. I have trained my whole life and plan to keep on doing that.
