Personal Statement
Hello Coach,
I started to play soccer at 5 years old. After 10 years in my first team in Rome as a Captain I was selected by Varese calcio at 15 years old, a pro team in the North of Italy. For this reason I left my hometown, my family and my friends to move in the youth professional academy, which gave me a real great opportunity to play against a very competitive teams (Inter, Milan, Atalanta) and a very good players. I was selected as one of the best talent in whole tournament entering many times in the team of the week as a left back. I continued my career in Lanciano (professional youth team) and SPAL (team which recently has been in Italian Serie A) where i played in a Primavera Tournament and Viareggio Cup with one goal.
I was in the following 2 years in the semi-professional first team (4th litalian level) where I did a great few of matches being one of the youngest players in the competition arriving to contend the championship title.
Last year I decided to go down of the category to start to study and build an academic career also, because in Italy is almost impossible to do both.
Last January I enjoyed the Miami United FC scouting showcase in Rome, when I was selected from the Head Coach Ferdinando de Matteis to play the NPSL, but due to Covid-19 I stayed in Rome. By the way I am looking for a top soccer program in d1 and d2 which I can make a strong contribution, with the dream of being a professional soccer player.
