Personal Statement

I have been playing club soccer for over 11 years. My main attributes are speed and power. I am a physical player, calm under pressure and have good touch. Summer of 2017 we moved to Rota, Spain from Pensacola, FL where I played on the Gulf Coast Texans Elite Black team. I have played HS Varsity soccer since my Freshman year. In addition to soccer, I started American Football when I moved to Spain. This year was my second year playing and I was selected as First Team Quarterback, and for 2018 European All-Stars. I also wrestle, run, swim, and sail. Overall, I love playing sports and look for opportunities to challenge myself both academically and athletically.

  • Played two years with the Gulf Coast Texans Elite Black team until my father (a doctor in the military) received orders to Spain and my family and I moved to Rota Spain. In addition to my team, I also guessed played for our clubs older team including the State Cup.
  • 2015 Bayside Dynamo (Elite)
  • Played through elementary school from 4th to 8th grade. Switched to Gulf Coast Texans for increased level of play.

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. I have taken all the Honors courses available. Freshmen: English, Geometry, Pre-IB Biology and Spanish 1 Sophomore: English. (My new school did not offer Honors Alg. 2 Honor history or Honors Sciences).
Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. Freshman: AP Human Geography. Sophomore: AP Computer Science 1 and AP World History (online because they only offered it online. I was the only one at my school taking AP World History) Junior: AP Lang and AP Environmental Science. Unfortunately my school is not offering any AP core sciences. Senior: scheduled to take AP Calculus; AP Lit, AP Computer A; AP Psych. Again, they are not offering AP Bio, AP Chem or AP Physics.
