Personal Statement
I am a sophomore at Salem University (NCAA D2) where I have just received my permission to contact other coaches. I am looking to make the next step in my college career where I play with and against players of a high level and with some who share my hopes of playing professionally. I think the reason I would stand out from your other recruits is my maturity on and off the field as well as my work ethic. I still have dreams of playing professionally and will do everything I can to achieve it. Right now I need a coach and mentor to put me on the right path to unlocking my full potential and becoming the best player I can become. I am also very focused on my academics as I have a 3.75 GPA and would like to continue working hard in the classroom. I am looking for a school that meets my criteria in coaching, academic excellence, facilities and overall lifestyle. I would also love to play in the Division 1 National Tournament and go as far as possible in it.
