Personal Statement
Ever since I was little, I have always dreamed of playing soccer in college. Soccer has shaped the way I think and act. From an early age, I’ve learned the importance of consistency and hard work, and to be able to play college soccer I must show these characteristics in the game and outside. Not only does this help me be better in a positive way, but it also allows me to achieve my goals, both athletic and academic. Also, playing with Barca Academy in many international tournaments, such as the Barca Academy World Cup, I have learned how to grow and improve, both from my mistakes and my triumphs. I have practiced almost every day of the school week and on Saturdays for most of my life, solidifying even more the love and dedication I have for this sport. This sport has helped me to follow my dream of being able to play college soccer.
