Hello, Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. My name is Shaun Kamwendo and I've loved soccer ever since I was a kid watching my favorite team with my Dad. I live in Dakar, Senegal and I'm a senior at the International School of Dakar. My school takes part in tournament known as waisal held every year amongst 8 different International schools in West Africa around the end of the soccer season where each school gathers at a host school and competes in the tournament which starts out as group stages and finishes in knockout stages and a final. There are a limited amount of players selected so each team must select the best players from their high school or middle school depending on whether it is a highschool or middle school waisal tournament. Throughout my years as an ISD student I have always been selected as a starter on the waisal team (from 6th grade until my senior year), most recently last year where we came second place. I have also competed in the Dana cup in Denmark and the Norway Cup last year for a team called Oneworld football which was a great experience for me, and have been playing at a local training center/ (non-professional)club here in Dakar since I was young.
My footballing strengths are my pace and dribbling as I enjoy playing as a winger or as a forward.
My Goal is to compete in college soccer while keeping up with my studies to secure my future. I would like to play in a division II or division III university that supports the major in which I would like to study. I am currently deciding on something Economics/Business related to study and will come to a decision soon. Thank you again for taking the time to read my profile and I hope to speak to you soon.
Shaun
