Personal Statement
As a player originally from the USA that now plays in Singapore, it's always been a goal of mine to go pro. Throughout this time I've thought about going to college basically the whole time and I know I'd enjoy playing for any team I can. I grew up playing on the field throughout entire 60-75 minute games playing both goalkeeper and midfielder, with the occasional striker and centre back positions being thrown in under different circumstances. I'm a well rounded player who can play any position a coach wants me to, even keeper, which is one of my larger passions as a player. I really enjoy the touch of the ball on my hands when I save a goal or send it to one of my teammates from the back. As a footballer I love to play, but one thing that makes me different as a player is that I love to do other things other than sports. I take up challenges like learning Mandarin Chinese, acting in performances at my school, and taking a world history class where we actively participate in every class with something new. I find learning fascinating and when it comes to football, I'm always ready to take up the challenge to learn something new.
