Personal Statement
From kicking my first soccer ball to captaining multiple teams, my journey in soccer has been a thrilling, transformative one. My love for the game is deep, but it's my leadership, teamwork, and game understanding that distinguish me from others.
From leading teams in elementary school to captaining my high school and club teams, I've developed a leadership style that prioritizes effective communication, mutual respect, and strategic decision-making. My communication skills and my innate ability to motivate and bring out the best in others, combined with my strong soccer IQ have consistently played a significant role in my teams' success. I've learned to navigate the game with instinctive precision, directing both offense and defense, controlling the pace of the game, and distributing the ball effectively. My accolades reflect my commitment and skill, Winning MVP on my JV team as a freshman and getting nominated for the same title for Varsity in my sophomore year.
Beyond the field, I am committed to academic excellence. Enrolled in a full IB course and aspiring to become an engineer, my academic endeavors complement my soccer career.
