My goal is to play soccer at a competitive level in college. Having lived in both the US and Japan and having played on both American and Japanese teams I am familiar with different styles of play, including the one or two touch quick passing style favored by the Japanese teams and the more physical approach used in the US. During my sophomore season, I was the starting attacking midfielder for my school's JV team which won the 2017 divisional championship among international schools in Japan. I scored 5 goals and had 6 assists in 9 games. Currently, as a junior, I am the starting attacking midfielder for my school’s varsity team. We finished 2nd in the Las Vegas Mayor's cup.
Even though I was born in the US and lived for a total of 8 years in Chicago, currently I am a Junior at The American School in Japan. I have dual citizenship in both the US and Japan, and I have lived exactly half my life in Tokyo. I am bilingual in both English and Japanese.
While soccer has always been important, I am also committed to academic success. I prioritize both practice and time to study.
