Personal Statement

Dear Coaches,

My name is Ugnius. I am from Lithuania. I started playing football when I was in first grade (8 y.o). All this time I stayed loyal to my club named FA Gelezinis vilkas. From the very beginning football is one of the biggest passions of my everyday life. I played at a lot of positions on the field and ended up as a winger for last 3 years. I truly believe that is my favorite and most suitable position.

I’m studying at Engineering Lyceum of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University which is orientated into Sciences studies. School and studying takes a lot of my everyday life. My favorite subject is Physics.  

When I have free time from football and school my hobbies are to hang out with my friends, drive a motorcycle and to play video games. I am a very social and an active person and I like to make new friends.

I have a sister Elze who’s 13 and mom Sandra who is a school teacher. My Dad is in aviation business. Formally he was playing professionally basketball after graduating University of Maine at Fort Kent with a full basketball scholarship.

I look forward to this journey towards playing football and studying in the United States.
