Personal Statement

I am a fairly late starter to soccer. I picked up the sport at 13 and developed very quickly into joining my local junior academy team after only 1 year of playing, even being promoted up an age group for a finals series, starting a trend of being promoted to a higher age group than I was meant to represent. One of the greatest assets of having started late, is my ability to pick up new skills as my habits are still breakable. Training and working with various coaches have always commented on my ability to adapt to new environments, roles and tasks, through hard work and extra training on developing key skills and attributes.

I want to win every game and tournament possible and will put everything I have to win games and develop as a player. I am also a super big and energetic character who has become super well known for both communication on and off the field. I'm always one of the first people that friends and teammates come to for support with issues and am always happy to help them through mental slumps and dips. I also have spent a season as team DJ and fines master, roles that are considered very important for team culture in both clubs I've played at.

  • 2 seasons
  • 2020 Curtin University Football Club (18's, Reserves and 1st's)
  • Notes: Training with exclusively first team. 2 clean sheet pre season games with first team. 3 appearances with reserves in the league, conceding only 1 goal, saving 1/1 penalties and receiving a MOTM. Due to an injury to the U18's keeper and my eligibility for the level, unlike the other 2 senior goalkeepers, I made 3 appearances, receiving a MOTM award. Due to difficulties travelling to the club I left prematurely to return to Fremantle
  • 2019 Fremantle City Football Club (U18's)
  • Notes: Playing with u18's due to academic commitments limiting gameday availability. Training with 1st team for entire season, being selected in the squad for a 1st team league game and making an appearance in a friendly match, keeping a clean sheet.
