My name is Makanaka Mhinga, and I am an 18-year-old soccer player from Zimbabwe. I am writing to express my interest in securing a soccer scholarship at your esteemed college in the USA.
Due to my brother's employment in the USA, I am eligible for a visa, making this opportunity even more feasible. As a left-footed player, I excel at left back and center back positions, utilizing my skills to win the ball back, distribute precise passes, and dominate aerial battles with my heading ability.
My passion for soccer drives me to excel, and I believe that college soccer in the USA is the ideal platform to achieve my dreams. With the economic crisis in Zimbabwe, I want to alleviate the financial burden on my parents by securing a scholarship. My ultimate goal is to get drafted into the MLS Super Draft.
