Carson Jeffery '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Carson Jeffery. I am in the graduating class of 2022 at Xavier High School In Cedar Rapids Iowa. I have played club soccer for 10 years, ODP for 5 years, and Regional ODP pool for 2 years. I am the starting Goalkeeper on varsity soccer for Xavier High School. I always have a goal set in mind and strive to achieve them. I like to compete and train at a high level. I never take no for an answer, if I’m not good in a certain area of my practice I don’t give up, I put time into it in order to get better. For High School Soccer I was honored to get the Freshman of the year award and honorable mention all-conference we competed for the state championship In 2019. Then in our 2020-2021 season, I ended with 68 saves, 12 of which were in the state tournament and had 3 assist, we then competed for the state title and are the 2020-2021 state champions and with the first school record of 0 goals against in a state tournament. For the 2020-2021 season, I was honored at both conference and state levels with Honorable Mention All-Conference, First team All-Metro, All-Tournament Team Goalkeeper, and First Team All-State. I am motivated by those who say I can't do something or that I'm not good enough. In 2018 I was honored to go over to Germany with the Minnesota ODP program to play soccer and experience different cultures. In my free time, I like to hang out with friends, golf, and play the guitar. The past couple of summers I worked at a Honda dealership detailing cars and sometimes doing oil changes or quick maintenance. For academics, I’ve been on the honor roll (3.25 GPA -3.75 GPA) and high honor roll (3.75 GPA - 4.25 GPA).
