Hello 

My name is David Martinez and I’m a senior at Washington high school in Kansas City,KS (grad year 2022)with a 3.4 GPA. 

Sports have always played a massive part of my life. Ever since I turned 10, soccer was my life.I notice I had nature talent, and was naturally gifted.I lived in my country Guatemala, I played on the streets and for the U15  club social y deportivo municipal playing soccer every day with great expectations.When I moved to the United States, I did not know much about high school soccer or college soccer, but as time went on I understood more and I knew that this was for me, since then my dream has always been playing soccer in college but always keeping in mind my education.

Outside of school, I have reached and represented many clubs at very high levels. Soccer has been a major success in my life. I have played for IFK Maryland and currently playing for Sporting blue valley 03. By playing sports such a young age. And reaching these levels, this has playing a big impact in my life. I have gained leadership skills, become more mature in my game, and developed teamwork. I consider myself a  playmaker with great technique and skills to dribble 1v1, but the most important thing is my vision of the field and  good passing .

My ambition is to continue playing competitive soccer while still pursuing my education in college. I am a committed learner who will put in the time and effort required to attain my full potential as a student athlete.
