My name is Brian Chubb, a six foot, 160 lb defender and forward. I have been playing soccer all my life and continue to love it every day. Early in my soccer life I grew up as a defender and stayed there until Freshman year in high school, where my club coach moved me to forward. In high school I have played everywhere from midfield, forward and defender, but still defense remains my strong suit. My best attributes are my speed and strength, I may not be the biggest kid but I will use my body to block out even the biggest kids and keep them from the ball. Throughout my soccer career I have had countless challenges that could make any normal kid give up. From all of my position changes, to countless unlucky injuries, including breaking my femur in half, soccer has been a struggle, but I don't let it keep me back. My motto is hard work, its simple yet powerful. I will work my butt off every minute of every day and never give up.
In terms of what I am looking for in a school, I am primarily looking for a great engineering program and a challenging soccer program. Too far north begins to turn me away, but it won't stop me from looking. I am an above average student, so a challenging program is something I need. Normally I look for a smaller college, but anything up to 10,000 will be on my radar. Thanks for looking, and I look forward to hearing from you.
