Jackson Goldberg '23 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer when I was in 6th grade and immediately fell in love with the sport. Ever since then, I have had to work harder than all of my peers in order to compete at the highest level. I went from a player with minimal playing time , to becoming a starter for the past two seasons where I was the second leading goal scorer in both years. I consistently work hard to become the best player I can possibly be.  

As a player, I like to start on the wing and make my way inside. Coaches who have scouted me have praised my ability to drive at defenders to both score and create opportunities for my teammates.  I always have used  my technical ability to my advantage to beat defenders. I am very capable of playing with both feet which makes me unpredictable and my shiftiness and first touch allow me create space for myself. 

It is important to me that I play for a competitive team in college where I can contribute as a freshman.  The ideal college will challenge me both on the soccer field and academically.
