My name is Joseph Yanez-Perez, I am a 17-year-old senior at Golden Plains High School in Rexford, Kansas. I play for the AYSO Region 994 in Colby, Kansas. I have been playing soccer for the AYSO Region 994 since 2013. This past summer I attended a soccer camp at Fort Hays State University. The school I attend does not offer soccer and there are no official soccer clubs near me. My goal is to play soccer at the collegiate level and continue to play after college but I am also interested in pursuing a career in law or political science. I didn't have the same advantages or opportunities as other players but that doesn't make me any less of a player. The main position that I play is forward but I also play as a wing and midfielder. I am a very agile player and pretty decent dribbling the ball. I am also a very determined and motivated player who will put in the hard work to be a valuable asset on any team.
