Ryan Masterson '22 Recruiting Profile

From the beginning, I knew I wanted to be a soccer player. I have always found joy in playing the game and being with my teammates. My goal is to play at the next level in college and continue my student-athlete relationship with my future school. I am driven to achieve my goals and will put in hours of work to get the things done that need to be done. I always work my hardest to be the best I can be on and off the field and will continue to do so wherever my path leads me. Currently, I play for a club team called Sporting Blue Valley Academy 03, which I believe will continue to prepare me to play at a higher level in college. I believe this team has helped me grow and will continue to help me grow and prepare for what’s ahead. I decided I would like to continue my academic career in Business Administration and I am excited to make new relationships with coaches and schools as I continue to look for the best location for me to continue my career as a student-athlete.

2021 Fall Season: The fall high school season was a blast playing for Blue Valley Northwest! We ended the season 5-10-1 with a losing record and ended up taking third place in the 6A state match. From going 28 games without a win, as a captain, I stepped up and refocused our attention on what we were really playing for. This season taught me a lot and showed a perfect example of determination, perseverance, and passion from my teammates and me. We fought throughout the season and had our ups and downs, but I will never forget how far we came as a team.
