Hi, I'm Timothy Ruggles, I am a Striker and will be graduating from Winfield High School in Winfield, KS in May 2024.
I began playing soccer when I was 9 and haven't stopped. The first positions I played were striker and wing. As I've continued to play in those positions, I've become convinced that these positions are where I belong. I appreciate the game and have a passion to play. I am focused on learning techniques and improving my skill to my highest potential.
I have played with those older than me and have learned from them the value and skill of how to not only be a good player physically, but mentally. I have been taught the importance of using my mind with control as I play. This experience has made me a better player.
In my 3 years at Winfield High School, our team has made a lot of accomplishments as we've worked hard and grown together. We play as far and as hard as we can, and we've beaten top teams in our division and strived to become a top team.
When it comes to soccer, you have to lock in and focus. Distractions can lead to mistakes and losses. We all mess up, but I strive to learn from my mistakes and always do better. When I'm coached, I work hard to put into practice the instruction and training I've received.
